The long version

Twenty years of the same standard

Gupta Enterprises began in 2004 on a modest press shop floor in Faridabad, Haryana, with a single discipline: sheet-metal press work done right. Two decades on, that discipline is still what the business runs on — the machines have multiplied, the standard has not moved.

The turning point came in 2010, when we brought die and fixture design in-house. It is a decision that shaped everything since. When the tooling that forms your part is built and maintained by the same people who run the press, a die revision takes days instead of weeks, and nobody waits on an outside vendor to fix a problem they did not create. Quality, cost and lead time stopped being things we negotiated with suppliers and became things we controlled.

In 2015 we added fibre laser cutting and VMC machining, which extended us from stamped and formed parts into precision-machined components and better tooling. By 2021 annual turnover had crossed ₹20 crore. Today we operate two manufacturing units in Faridabad totalling 1,100 sq. yards, with 35 power presses spanning 20 to 250 tonnes, 15 welding stations, a full tool room and a team of more than 50 people.

We supply sheet-metal, tubular and tooling components to eight-plus OEM and Tier-1 partners across the Indian automotive supply chain — most of them repeat, multi-year customers. That repeat business is the number we watch most closely, because in this industry nobody re-orders out of politeness.

The fundamentals have not changed: 100% inspection before dispatch, 144 kVA of standby power so production never depends on the grid, and tooling we build ourselves. What is changing is reach — we are applying the same capabilities to industrial equipment, electrical, renewable energy, robotics and agriculture, and building the quality documentation that export programmes demand.

What has not changed

Three things we have never traded away

  • Every part gets inspected

Not a sample from the batch — every part, against the customer drawing, before it is packed. It has been the rule since the first order and it has never been relaxed for a delivery date.

  • We build our own tooling

Since 2010, the dies, fixtures and gauges that shape our customers' parts are designed and maintained by the same people accountable for the parts. It is slower to set up and far faster to fix.

  • We say no when the answer is no

If a tolerance is not achievable with the specified process, or a date is not realistic, our customers hear it at quotation. It costs us some orders. It is why the ones we take tend to become long-term programmes.

We would like your programme in it.

Send a drawing and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right supplier for it — including when we are not.
