Why Gupta Enterprises

Built to be a supplier you don't have to manage

Procurement teams do not need another vendor to chase. Six reasons buyers keep coming back — and, further down, straight answers to the objections we hear most.

  • 6 in-house capabilities

    Single-source manufacturing

Cutting, forming, welding, machining and tooling under one roof. One purchase order, one point of accountability, no sub-vendor chain to chase when a date slips.

  • 20 – 250 T · 35 presses

    Scalable press capacity

35 power presses from 20 to 250 tonnes handle prototype batches and high-volume programmes on the same floor — so you are not re-sourcing when volumes ramp.

  • 100% inspected

    Quality you can audit

100% of parts checked against your specification before dispatch, with incoming, in-process and final stages documented under an ISO 9001:2015 system.

  • 144 kVA standby

    Supply you can rely on

144 kVA of standby generation (62 + 82 kVA DG sets) keeps presses, lasers and welding lines running through grid outages — a real risk in North Indian industrial belts.

  • In-house since 2010

    Tooling we build ourselves

Dies, fixtures and gauges designed, built and maintained in our own tool room. Revisions and repairs never sit in an outside vendor's queue.

  • 8+ Tier-1 partners

    Customers who re-order

Eight-plus OEM and Tier-1 partners, most of them multi-year repeat customers. Consistency, not one-off wins, is what the record shows.

The difference

Single-source versus a vendor chain

The usual failure mode in fabricated components is not any single operation — it is the handovers between them.

What happens when… Typical multi-vendor route Gupta Enterprises
A die needs a revision Parts ship to the tool vendor and queue behind their other customers. Weeks. The die moves 20 metres to our own tool room. Days.
A dimension drifts mid-run Discovered at the next vendor, or at your goods-inward. Blame is contested. Caught at the in-process check that follows the operation causing it.
The part needs machining after forming Two transport legs, two goods-inward checks, a week you cannot see. Machined in the unit next door. The part never leaves.
Volume ramps from 500 to 50,000 Re-source, re-qualify, re-run first article with a new supplier. Laser to progressive die, same plant, same quality system.
The grid goes down Production stops. Your delivery date moves. 144 kVA of standby generation carries the shop through.
Something goes wrong Three suppliers, three explanations, no single owner. One purchase order, one point of accountability.

Straight answers

The objections we hear — and our honest response

Every supplier has limits. We would rather you learn ours here than three weeks into a qualification cycle.

  • "You are smaller than our usual supply base."

True — we are a 50-person operation with two units, not a multi-plant group. What that buys you is direct access: the people who quote your part run the shop that makes it, and a tooling problem gets escalated to a decision-maker the same day. What it costs you is the buffer capacity of a very large supplier, which is why we are explicit about volumes we can and cannot absorb before we accept a programme.

  • "You hold ISO 9001, not IATF 16949."

Correct, and we say so on our certifications page rather than leaving it to be found. Our ISO 9001:2015 system covers production and inspection, we inspect 100% of parts against customer drawings, and we welcome customer audits. If IATF certification is a hard gate for your supply base, tell us at enquiry stage — we would rather lose the enquiry than waste your qualification cycle.

  • "Your recent turnover figure is from FY 2022–23."

That is the latest audited figure we publish. We are happy to share current financial statements directly with serious enquiries under NDA, along with bank references and statutory details for your vendor onboarding pack.

  • "We need a supplier who exports."

Our current customer base is Indian OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. We are building export-standard documentation and packaging practice and we welcome international enquiries — with the honest caveat that we will discuss compliance requirements and timelines openly before committing rather than promising and discovering later.

  • "Coating is not done in your plant."

It is not, and we do not list it as an in-house capability. Surface finishing is managed through qualified partners under our purchase order, with coated parts returning to us for inspection before dispatch. You get one PO and one point of accountability; you also get a clear answer during your audit.

Have a concern that is not here? Ask us directly — we will answer it the same way.
