Manufacturing capability
Laser cutting is the fastest path from a drawing to a real part, because it needs no tooling at all. Send a DXF or STEP file and we can have profiles cut within days — which makes it the right answer for prototypes, low volumes, and the awkward middle ground where a die cannot be justified yet.
A progressive die is the right investment at volume, but it takes weeks to build and money to commit. For a first article, a validation batch, or a part whose design is still moving, the laser removes that decision entirely.
We routinely cut the first production batch on the laser while the press tool is still being built in our tool room, so your programme timing does not wait on tooling.
Clean, square, accurate profiles come straight off the bed. For most applications that removes a secondary deburring or finishing operation, which is a real cost and lead-time saving on any part with significant cut length.
Where a part does need a formed feature or a machined bore, the laser-cut blank feeds directly into our own press and CNC lines rather than shipping out.
The 1500 × 3000 mm bed takes standard sheet sizes without splitting, cutting HR steel up to 25 mm thick and stainless steel up to 6 mm.
Nesting is done to minimise material use — on higher-volume runs this makes a measurable difference to the piece price, and we will show you the nest if material yield matters to your costing.
